The Island project is a suite hotel located on the Netanya coastline, whose planning concept diverges from the conventional in the hotel world. Instead of standard hotel rooms, the entire project is comprised of expansive suites – real living units, planned and accessorized with amenities for an extended and comfortable stay and the feel of a real home. Every suite includes a wide balcony spanning about 21 sqm overlooking the ocean, and an expansive living space offering the experience of a stay in a luxury vacation suite.

The underlying vision of the project arose from in-depth consideration of Jews from the diaspora. It was planned as a home for Jews from throughout the world, who come to Israel for a limited number of days during the year and at the same time want a permanent place of their own – a space where when they arrive they can feel immediately at home. The suites belong to private owners, who use them during their stay in Israel, and when they are not in Israel the suites are part of the hotel and provide an additional source of income for the suite owner.   

The concept behind the project combines hospitality with the residential, and offers diaspora Jews permanent accommodations in Israel. In addition to the real estate solution, this concept also reflects a value-based outlook which views the connection with the Jews of the world and the possibility of their return to Israel as an essential component of the project vision. 

This is the foundation of the project that connects and combines residential living, the hospitality world, and Jewish identity – a place where every suite is much more than a hospitality unit: it is a small home in Israel for those for whom Israel is an integral part of their life.
