After building several projects which formed the Ir Yamim skyline, a vision was born to create a space that would be the center and beating heart of the neighborhood’s community life.

Briga acquired the land for building the commercial center, and then initiated a new city building plan and a change of the original plan – from a four-floor rectangular building to a round, broad and open courtyard that is strategically located – precisely at the meeting point of the blue axis from the east to the ocean and the green axis connecting the Iris Nature Reserve and Ramat Poleg neighborhood.

The Piano center is built as a round and open architectural space, with the main plaza functioning as a community and family leisure venue. This main plaza offers a blend of boutique shops, fine food restaurants and convenience stores – a commercial mix where residents can find everything in one place, while offering and maintaining a high-quality and elegant leisure experience.  

The design of the Piano commercial center drew its inspiration from Italy, with dedicated tours conducted in Europe to gain architectural insights and inspiration for building a unique center. Varied ideas were gathered from different planning approaches, and then translated into a meticulous plan which culminated in one of the most successful commercial centers in Israel – a center the meets all the residents’ leisure, commercial and service needs – in one place, and in the center and heart of the neighborhood.    

Project planning was conducted in cooperation with the residents of Ir Yamim, in the aim of gaining in-depth understanding of the community’s needs and fine-tuning the center’s offering – from the types of businesses and services to optimal suitability to daily life in the neighborhood.   

The Piano center both reflects and enables vibrant community life: a leisure venue for seniors, families and young people, and a perfect place for social events – enhancing and strengthening the sense of neighborhood belonging.
